The domain is bought in your name
Your domain is registered in your own registrar and Cloudflare account, paid with your card. Strelva gets a DNS-edit member role to wire up hosting, nothing more. It's not account ownership, and you can revoke it in a click.
Your content is yours and exportable anytime
Every page section, your settings, theme, navigation, footer, and a manifest of every image, logo, and photo can be downloaded from the dashboard. Not at month twelve, not on request. Whenever you want it.
No contract holds you in place
There's no term to wait out and no cancellation fight. You're on a month-to-month plan you can end whenever you decide the site has stopped earning its keep.
Leaving is an export, not a hostage negotiation
When you go, you take the whole site, content and assets, exported and intact. The domain was already yours, so there's nothing to pry loose. Strelva just steps off the DNS-edit access once you're live on your own.

What it looks like for a real business
Before Strelva, Marlowe & Fig had been burned. Their old web guy had registered the domain under his own account, and when they wanted to switch, he treated it like leverage. So the first thing they checked this time was who held the keys. The domain went in their own Cloudflare account with their card; Strelva only got a DNS-edit role they could see and remove. Months in, when they were curious, the owner downloaded the full content export and the asset manifest in under a minute just to confirm it was real. It was. There was no contract to escape and nothing held back. Knowing they could walk is exactly why they didn't want to.
